This workshop is a two part experience with the first half of the workshop exploring spinal movements, as well as nerve tensioning sequences. We will feel and discuss active movement from the ‘core,’ as well as how to prepare a posture actively before it is introduced. Following the breakdown of spinal movements, we will put the concepts into action with a 60 minute amazing continual flow to music led by Tangkao Tan.
The second half of the workshop we will learn how to combine these new concepts of movement with vinyasa flow. This will teach students and teachers how to amplify and elevate their practice in a way to increase blood flow and prana through the body, as well as, explore the creative expression of yoga synergy when added to your established routine. We will explore this movement combination through Chandra Namaskar, moon salutations. This part of the workshop will be led by Lauren Fields, and co-taught by Tangkao Tan.
